Who is Adrienne Unae?
An anomaly, I am not a respecter of persons. Also, I am a triple threat (dance/sing/act) Minister of The Gospel who stands on the following: Acts 10:34-35, Romans 2:11, Ephesians 6:9, I Corinthians 10:31-33 and Mark 16:15.

Why I sing, dance and act for Jesus, The Christ
Jesus laden dance is a power a tool as the preached Word. The employment of dance art in the church, when held subject to the Word, is a powerful tool of evangelism. It leads and carries praise. It leads and carries worship. It exhorts. It prophesies. It plants seeds of faith. It delivers. It teaches. It is, contrary to popular belief, a tool perfectly willed by God to hear down territorial strongholds/wickedness in high places as well as to tell people just how much God loves us.

When on a set, in the secular world, I purpose to let His light shine before me that others see His good works. I purpose to represent The Kingdom of God to the saved and unsaved that work in front of and behind the camera. Sometimes I get to be in front of the camera or in a stage play. How cool is that? I Corinthians 10:31-33

Rev. "A" has toured nationally and internationally with HORTON DANCE!, Xanadu Dance and Sarlot Productions. She has traveled from Miami to New York to Finland to Japan to the Continent of Africa to Cancun to Tortola to New Jersey back to New York as home base.

Adrienne Unae has over 20 years experience managing and growing companies across multiple industries. As an entrepreneur, has accumulated invaluable experience in management, marketing, accounting, grant writing and program development. She is Executive Director of HORTON DANCE! Inc., a 501(C)3 organization she founded during her undergraduate senior year. HORTON DANCE! specializes, through the dance, in behavior modification and social/life skills enhancement in the lives of area "underserved" and "at risk" children and youth.

Also, Adrienne Unae  is an internationally ordained minister through the Association of Evangelical Gospel Assemblies. She attended Harvard on the Walter Terry Memorial Scholarship holds a Bachelor's degree in Dance, a Master's degree in Ministry, a Doctorate degree in Religious Dance an MBA degree and has ministered cross denominationally. She is Chief Administrative Officer for two New York City financial firms where her core responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations for both business entities, overseeing marketing initiatives and directing administrative support staff. Last but not least she is one of the producers for the Broadway musical Godspell. In the midst of it all, she still has the tenacity to assist the church community with the creating and/or building up of their dance ministries/Sacred Dance choreographic endeavors.

Her new book was recently released. "Sacred Dance: Rebirth and The Call" is in process of being made available in major bookstores and online. She is excited about what God is doing in her life.

Adrienne Unae's ministerial credentials were awarded in 2003 by and are currently held by the Association of Evangelical Gospel Assemblies in Monroe, Louisana. She is a proud member of Jesus Saves Ministries, JSM, in Bridgeport, CT under the leadership of Bishop Shane Gaskins and Pastor Angela George Gaskins; New Day Fellowship - Arch Bishop Elect Thomas E. Wallace. At JSM she is Eastern Region Associate Pastor and their Worship Arts Pastor. At the Greater Allen Cathedral in Jamaica Queens, NY she sings with the Celebration of Life Choir. She is also a member of The Sacred Dance Guild and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated. Jesus Christ is Adrienne Unae's Lord and Saviour. He is her Healer, her Deliverer and her Master!

HORTON DANCE!
We endeavor to serve, in today's morally turbulent and spiritually defunct times, persons young and old as they face unprecedented loss of optimism and challenges of depression, powerlessness, poor impulse control, low self esteem and the like. Such negative behaviors lead to the stronghholds of fear is the root of anger and violence. We use dance as an antecdote, a balm, for the above mentioned challenges. We have found arts through spiritually based framework to have positive effect on our children/youth, their families and the community. We envision, through the dance, to assist persons young and old, menally or physically imprisoned, to improve their social/life skills that they overcome poor impulses such that they are better able to manage their anger, thus be delivered from the grips of fear.

An excerpt from my book

A communication to you that the art of dance is a God ordained blessing to the body of Christ and the world. It is to be used for the purpose of not only bringing believers to a deeper revelation of our Father and The Who that He really is, BUT to bring the lost unbelievers back to Christ. Yeah, that's it! God perfectly wills that we be utilized in all our talents, by Him,to bring lost souls to Him. Thus, the Jesus laden dance is to be employed by pastors to assist in the perfecting of the saints for the working of the ministry...God's ministry.

What is Sacred Dance?
From the Jewish tradition, it was embraced by the early church as an integral part of celebrations and of worship. During the Middle Ages, many influences affected the development of Christian dance. Despite the increasing proscriptions concerning  concerning its value and use, it still survived as a sacred dance form. The Reformation, however, led to the dance being forced out of its place in the liturgical celebrations of the Christian church, and with few exceptions flourished in the secular world...

How can I be a Christian/Minister and be In a sorority???
Well the Bible says that whereever I make my bed, even if it is hell He, The Lord is with me. The Bible also tells us to go into all of the world preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible warns us of being respecter of persons. That includes organizations. Where I do not celebrate Easter, but do celebrate His Resurrection Sunday, I can be a member of a Greek lettered sorority. The sorority was based on Christian principles.  Easter was not. Easter stems from Eostre, the Greek goddess of fertility. My founding mothers were not worshippers of the Greek gods and neither is the sorority. Get this. If I can attend church and sit right next to the devil posing to be a Bible believing Christian and get mistreated by them on a regular, LOL, well then I can  surely be a member of a sorority where  my SoRhors make it a point to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless and so forth. My God is the One and one Truely living God and His Holy Spirit is with me wherever I go; church, work, hot yoga the theatre, an audition, a movie/stage play set, school, sorority meeting and wherever else He allows to be a tool of evangelism. This, for the cause of Christ.

So no. I will not denounce my 22 year membership to my sorority. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority does more Godly works than a whole lot of churches and those that negatively pontificate about Christians in Greekdom. Imagine and think about that. Being in a sorority is way less exclusive than the church organizations that ONLY cater to and serve Christians. selah.

Now, let's be about the business of representing Christ in EVERYTHING we do and EVERYWHERE we go. Folks are dying in droves and bustin' hell wide open and believers and non-believers are sittin' up spewing venom at Christians who think it not robbery to serve the community, fulfilling the Great Commission via Greek lettered organizational membership.
WOW! WOW! WOW!

Enough of that! Let's get some folk saved, set free and delivered from every manner of wickedness and diabolical scheme of the devil. May every lesser god submit to the big G God, the Big K King and the Big L Lord.
